SAM + ANA = GIPSY LIFE

J’aurais pu commencer cet article par des conneries du genre, Sam&Ana en couple depuis 3 mois, lui est DJ à New York (comme tous les mecs normaux), elle est mannequin à Londres (comme toutes les filles normales). Laissons cette merde à ceux qui ont assez de talent pour l’inventer… L’histoire à moins de fond de teint sur la peau. J’ai fais la connaissance de Sam à l’époque du Skate Pistols, le petit shop qu’il avait monté sur Tours. Dur à gérer quand on est toujours aux quatres coins du globe pour skater…De ses voyages il ramène des centaines de photos, qui laissent bien rêveurs les mecs comme nous qui ont le cul un peu trop vissé sur leur chaise.

Après de joyeux moments passés en sa compagnie et celle de sa moitié Ana, graphiste plus que talentueuse; je me suis aperçu que nos points communs allait bien au delà d’une simple éventuelle collaboration. On rentre dans une notion presque fraternelle. La famille c’est quelque chose en éternel mouvement, et ça va bien au delà des liens du sang. C’est avant tout une question de valeurs, d’idéaux et d’état d’esprit.

Il y a des rencontres comme ça, où on se dit : « Mais putain, c’est bizarre, j’ai l’impression qu’on se connait depuis longtemps ».

J’ai décidé de faire une interview un peu spéciale, vu que c’est un peu la première fois que je pose des questions à un couple. Bref le concept est assez simple, je poserais des questions à Sam concernant Ana, et inversement.

Question indiscrète pour commencer, t’as rencontré Ana comment?

C’était à Tours pendant l’été 2006 sur les bords de Loire .

Nous avions pas mal de potes en commun. ensuite un matin où j’ouvrais mon shop je l’ai aperçu , je lui ai couru après puis invité à boire un café…. haha

 

Son univers est peuplée souvent d’oiseau, et principalement de corbeaux, pourquoi?

Sûrement car l’oiseau est un symbole de liberté, il vole, et puis il est très élégant, entre son bec et ses plumes. Ils ont la classe et se laissent porter par le vent . ANA aimerais aussi voler je pense et aussi chier sur certain connard d’humain.

Puis pour les corbeaux , c’est son coté dark , la vie puis la mort .

 

Vous avez déjà bosser sur des projets artistiques communs?

Oui bien sûr , avec le skate nous avons souvent besoin d’artistes pour les boards, les roues, les pub, …. donc pourquoi allez chercher loin quand sa chérie fait plein de graphiques cool. Elle a commencé par faire des tickets et des pubs pour mon shop skatepistols, puis ensuite mon pro model chez antiz skateboard, un bandana ANTIZ X ANA  ….

 

Est ce que tu peux m’en dire un peux plus sur le visuel qu’on sort en exclu web « It’s better in the sky »?

ANA en a ras le bol de Paris, du métro, de la ville….  Deux ans et demi en CDI en mode graphiste , je pense qu’elle a besoin de prendre l’aire et de bouge. Elle est en manque de nature et d’aventure … C’est surement mieux dans le ciel genre, là ou il n’y a pas d’humains casse couille .

Peux tu me parler de sa dernière collab’ avec Vans?

Je skate pour Vans depuis 7 ans donc mes collègues de chez Vans connaissent ANA et sont taff . Ils cherchaient à faire une collab’ avec des gens de Paname pour une série Vans » Paris classic » … Ils ont donc contacté ANA puis visiblement ils ont adoré sont t-shirt , sac puis shoes . Les gens du bureau Europe avaient tous le t-shirt , c’est cool, tant mieux …

 

C’est quoi la blague qu’Ana aime raconter à tout le monde?

Je sais pas , elle dis pas mal de connerie

 

Une chanson qu’elle déteste par dessus tout?

Je sais pas…genre une chanson de tryo

 

L’insulte qu’elle dit tout le temps?

Ses futurs projets?

Voyager , peindre, tatouer , faires des photos … Faire la gipsy pendant au moins un an et demi à travers l’Europe et les us .

Est ce que tu peux m’en dire un peux plus sur l’histoire de la photo qu’on a choisit « Chicken Pool »?

Sam l’a prise pendant un trip Vans. Ils étaient en train de filmer les intros de chaque skateur. Le principe de la vidéo était que chacun d’entre eux représente une époque du skate. Ce mec avec ses chaussettes hautes devait représenter les annéeS 70’s je pense… En plus Sam porte la plupart du temps ses chaussettes comme ça… Savate représente!

C’est quoi la photo qu’il a fait que tu préfères le plus?

WWWooo! Choix difficile… J’en ai pas une en particulier. Je préfère sans doute ses portraits. Sam arrive à approcher les gens de près.

 

Je suppose qu’il lui est arrivé pas mal de trucs un peu dingue, t’as un ptit exemple en tête?

ahahah! Sam ne chante pas trop… mais sinon je dirai une chanson de Bowie genre life in Mars…

Une chanson qu’il aime par dessus tout?

Je ne penses pas qu’il y en ai qu’une. Je tablerais entre Bowie, Leonard Cohen et Annie Cordy.

 

Ses futurs projets?

Là il est en Australie avec Sosh puis il bougera au Maroc avec Antiz et après je le kidnappe un peu pour voyager avec moi pendant cette nouvelle année sous le signe de la Gipsy attitude.

How to order?

The Vendor also reserves the right to reject orders from any customer with whom the Vendor have an ongoing legal dispute regarding a prior order.

Place of Delivery

The place of Delivery shall be determined by the Customer within the Territory, under sanction to refuse the Order.

The Customer is exclusively responsible for any error in the Delivery due to a lack of indication contained in the Order.

Amount of Delivery Charges

The amount of Delivery Charges depends upon the amount of the Order and upon the Method of Delivery the Customer chooses. In any case, the amount of Delivery Charges shall be indicated to you before the Order Confirmation.

The Delivery Charges are free if the amount exceeds EUR 200,00.

Delivery Term

Delivery Terms are available for review on the Website. They may change depending on the availability of the Goods subject of the Order.

Delivery Terms are expressed in working days and correspond to an average time for preparing and shipping the Order to the Customer.

Delays

Tracking
