We'd been looking forward to setting off on an adventure for a while, with a rucksack slung over our shoulders and a map of the world as our only guide. At OLOW, we've always believed that adventure begins downstairs from home. So here we are, on the doorstep of our Paris boutique, ready to set off. Who knows where our steps will take us?

Whatever happens, we'll keep you posted, and we've prepared a small stock of stamps to stick on the postcards that will mark out the stages of our journey.

The problem with this paddle introduction class, which we were told about at the tourist office, is that you have to contract your muscles (and we're not very good at that). Last but not least, you have to be careful not to fall into the water. So, we really don't recommend it.
