Sur des toiles ou des sérigraphies, on retrouve sa palette de couleurs au sein de paysages qui oscillent entre conception architecturale et vision d’un paysage abstrait en mutation. Originaire des Hautes-Alpes, Séverine Dietrich nous donne rendez-vous au sommet des montagnes pour rencontrer son art.
Hello Séverine, tu travailles au palace Rouville de Lyon, un lieu hébergeant des artistes visuels. Peux-tu m’en dire plus sur cet endroit?

Hello, oui bien sur! Nous sommes aujourd’hui Palace Royal, nous avons du déménager suite au rachat de notre ancien local. Au départ, nous sommes avant tout une bande de potes qui avait envie de bosser ensemble et de partager un espace. Nous sommes 13 artistes, illustrateurs, designers. Cet atelier nous permet de travailler ensemble, d’échanger sur les nombreuses problématiques artistiques et administratives que nous rencontrons, et bien sur de manger des raclettes en hiver!
Tu es également enseignante en design graphique. À quoi ressemblent tes journées lorsque tu es là-bas?

J’ai eu beaucoup de projets ces deux dernières années, j’ai donc décidé de faire une pause sur l’enseignement. C’est malgré tout quelque chose qui reste important pour moi. J’aime beaucoup les échanges avec les étudiants. Je pense donc reprendre prochainement mais cette fois-ci plutôt en illustration/art plastique que en design graphique.
Ton style est reconnaissable . Qui sont les personnes ou artistes qui ont pu t’influencer dans la manière dont tu peins?

Mes artistes de références sont Geneviève Claisse, Barnett Newman, Piet Mondrian, Le Corbusier, Paul Klee, Robert et Sonia Delaunay, Marcel Beuer, Rem Koolhaas, et bien d’autres encore!
Ton activité artistique se focalise principalement sur la création de paysages graphiques, notamment autour de la montagne. À croire que tu as eu un coup de foudre au sommet de l’une d’entre elles.

Oui effectivement!! Je suis originaire d’un petit village des Hautes alpes, une station de ski ou j’ai vécu une grande partie de mon enfance et de mon adolescence. J’ai grandi au milieu de falaises aussi imposantes que fascinantes. J’ai passé tous mes hivers sur les pistes, c’était notre lieu de rendez-vous entre amis, on les apercevait des fenêtres de mon lycée, c’était dur de rester en classe!
Je suis aussi passionnée d’architecture et de culture urbaine. Je travaille à créer des ponts entre les milieux naturels et urbains, à priori opposés.
Je sens quelque chose d’unique dans les couleurs et le ton que tu utilises. D’où vient cet amour pour les couleurs vives?

J’ai toujours aimé les couleurs vives. Je ne cherche pas à représenter la réalité, ça me donne donc beaucoup de liberté!
Tu travailles aussi à la création d’identités visuelles, de projets de communication ou d’éditions. Les collaborations te permettent-elles de donner une nouvelle dimension à tes créations?

Aujourd’hui je travaille principalement sur la peinture et l’illustration, mes principales collaborations tournent autour de ça, comme avec Olow,Element ou encore Label Chaussette, et ça me va très bien!
J’aime beaucoup les collabs, cela me permet d’explorer de nouveaux sujets ou supports, je trouve ça très ludique. J’aime aussi beaucoup voir ce que font les marques avec mes dessins, il en ressort des choses vraiment très chouette.

You have received your order but the product does not suit you?

You can return your products within 15 days of receiving your package, for any order.

For the festive season, the deadlines are extended to 30 days.

The items must not have been worn, washed or damaged and must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition for resale.

How do I return my package from France?

Return shipping from France is free via Mondial Relay.

To return your parcel, it is very simple :

  1. Go to “My account”, in the “My purchases” section,

  2. In the list of your orders, select your order,

  3. If your order is eligible for return, please tick each product you wish to return. If a product has been ordered in several copies, you can indicate the quantity to be returned.

  4. Indicate the reason for the return at the bottom of the order details and click on “Request a return”. You can track your return request in the “Returns” section of the “My purchases” section.

  5. Once your return request has been validated by our team, all you have to do is stick your pre-paid label (provided at the time of delivery) on the package, insert the completed returns form in the parcel and drop it off at a Mondial Relay point.

How can I return my package (International online returns)

International return packages are at the customer’s expense (including cost of shipment by the chosen carrier, customs & duties, taxes, etc.)

To return your parcel, it is very simple :

  1. Go to “My account”, in the “My purchases” section,

  2. In the list of your orders, select your order,

  3. If your order is eligible for return, please tick each product you wish to return. If a product has been ordered in several copies, you can indicate the quantity to be returned.

Is it possible to return my item in the shop?

No, for all internet orders, returns can only be made to the address mentioned above.

What can I do if my item has a defect?
