Musical postcard #1

Last summer, we asked our friend Romain, aka Lenparrot, to concoct a playlist inspired by a journey. He had taken us by train to Leucate, where he had recorded his third album.

This time, no precise destination, but a playlist/postcard, which takes us from Toro y Moi to Gal Costa, via Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

Always very excited by his musical finds, we invite him behind the decks during our shop opening event, on Thursday May 4th in Nantes.

I made this mixtape like writing a postcard - the exercise is old-fashioned, the task almost impossible: to transcribe a change of scenery, an intimate experience in a few lines. To be light without sounding hollow, to have a sense of formula without overdoing it. To offer a picturesque image in a space that is always too narrow.
