SS22 COLLECTION

We can all agree that we’ve had a very complicated few months. We came out of it with the impression of having been put under a steamroller, like those who tamp down the tar on roads under construction.

A sudden desire for lightness, to unplug from the bad vibes, to hit the road, right now, right away. Go away for a weekend, a holiday or whatever you want, as long as we’re together, as long as we don’t think about anything else. Going on holidays implies that you are going to pass through a “rest area” at some point.

Strange as it may seem, these places have always fascinated us. Maybe because they are like the beach, out of everything. Asides where everyone mingles, without social class, without judgement, without complexes. When you stop there, you are not on your way to your holiday, you are already there! So what does it matter if these places look like nothing, we don’t give a damn. We brush our teeth in the toilet, we eat our picnics on the open boot of our car, we play football on the smallest patch of grass..

Between bright colours, vintage patterns, and slice-of-life illustrations, we wanted to put those holiday rush memories into our clothes, and make “Aire de repos” (rest area in english) an era of rest.
