Felicity
Marshall

Felicity Marshall is an English artist specialised in graphic design and patterns. The artist plays around with recurring patterns which mostly all stem from one iconographic family: the sun. Using palm trees, stretched out nude bodies, wild animals, luscious jungle greenery, vivid colours and a heady feeling of laziness, Felicity conjures up the sweetness of farniente.

Kung Fu

Passionate about asian culture, Felicity Marshall loved working on this design made up of kung fu positions.

Kung Fu is a traditional Chinese martial art created more than five thousand years ago. Rich in culture and history, it refers to the ancient school of the Shaolin Monastery, a buddhist temple located in the Song mountains in Henan province, where the sport is thought to have originated. It is said that monks competed in fights as early as 610, and still to this day, kung fu is prominently practiced in competitions in Asia and all over the world.

Organic cotton certified GOTS

Farmed without GMOs, nor pesticides or chemical fertilisers (agricultural insecticides are replaced by natural fertilisers such as compost, which helps maintain healthy and sustainably productive soil), organic cotton also requires minimal watering since intensive irrigation is not needed.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres comprising of major social and economical aspects. The broad range of criteria and requirements ensures the organic nature of the textiles, from the harvesting of the raw materials to the manufacturing, the packaging, the labelling and the distribution. On a social level, the GOTS label asks businesses to inform their employees of the contents of the minimal social criteria while promising them safe and hygienic working conditions. A non-discrimination clause, the prohibition of child labour, the prohibition of violent or inhumane treatment, an ethical code of conduct, as well as decent working conditions and living wages are all required by the certification scheme.
