We are very proud to announce the opening of a new OLOW shop and office.
After Paris in 2016, it is now in Nantes, where part of the team has been based for a few years now, that we have decided to make this project a reality.

After a year's wait and three months of work, we opened on 18 April this year, and we thought we'd celebrate in style with an opening night on Thursday 4 May.

The shop

Imagined from A to Z by Aurélie Thuilleaux in design, scenography and project management, the shop is a free space, open to wandering, with graphic touches, which aspires to creation. Light-filled and warm, it is also a real invitation to relax...

The office

The entire team in Nantes has moved in above the boutique. 4 people who manage communication/marketing and design the collections, in conjunction with the Paris office.

Aurélie Thuilleaux​

Design and project management, Aurélie trained at the Nantes School of Design, focusing on exhibition scenography

Site supervisor.

Aurélie is both an interior architect and a project manager, in charge of operations and site supervision as well as object design. She was able to adopt all of these trades so that the project could be completed in a very short time frame of 3 months.

Explorer.

She always explores projects in such a way as to bring a scenic dimension and a desire for elsewhere.

Museographer.

She has designed temporary or permanent exhibitions in places such as the Paris Natural History Museum, the Musée de l'Homme, the Paris City Hall, etc.

Atelier Clac

Design studio and fabrication workshop, specialising in carpentry, cabinet making and ironwork, based in a huge shared workshop in ICI Nantes

Proximity.

They work on a local scale to create links and limit the environmental impact.

Collaboration.

They are members of a network of shared factories to pool machinery and the purchase of raw materials.

Committed.

Atelier Clac uses mainly raw or minimally processed materials, and when possible, buys downgraded materials.

All the furniture on the ground floor is made from downgraded okoumé plywood.

These panels are removed from the production line because of aesthetic defects, gluing problems or irregularities in their thickness.

Usually destined to be destroyed, these "scraps" are recovered by Articonnex, a local company that recycles materials and raw materials.

In addition to the virtuosity of its origin, this wood lends a warm atmosphere to the space with its golden and copper tones.

Its discreet veining and visible fields reinforce the minimalist and graphic line of the furniture, with the aim of highlighting the brand's products.

For the office area on the first floor, we chose to use OSB, a material usually used for construction.

These FSC-certified panels are manufactured from wood residues from responsibly managed forests.

This staff area is functional, with generous storage space and large work surfaces.

Like a "work in progress" antechamber to the boutique, the workshop atmosphere that reigns here invites experimentation and appropriation, where the brand's future collections are born."

Atelier Camion

This is Camille and Marion, two cousins who have set out on the road to becoming craftsmen in 2021 in Nantes.

Together they imagine and create custom-made pieces of furniture and modular scenographic elements from scraps or reused ceramic tiles.

With a strong sense of detail and unlimited creativity, they cut and assemble each tile by hand and transform it into a unique and original piece.

Process.

Atelier camion is based on the recovery and reuse of materials. Here, the Atelier Clac × Atelier camion table was designed and created from marine plywood and zelliges recovered from the end of a building site.

Materials.

The wood comes from panels returned by the André BTP and Léon Grosse companies and then collected by the ESAT of Saint Herblain on the Nantes University Hospital site. They were cleaned and trimmed by the ESAT du Landa before arriving at the workshop.

The zelliges were sourced and then recovered from private sites between the Ile de Ré and La Rochelle.

MURALIST

Pedro Richardo

A muralist painter for 15 years, he is a key figure on the Nantes scene and a seasoned member of the "100 pression" collective. Pedro has covered countless walls with his colourful and dreamlike universe, in Nantes of course, but also well beyond its borders.

A long-time friend and after several collabs with the brand, it was natural that he tackled the wall of the new boutique.

A unique work with soft colours that questions the relationship between man and nature, straight out of his universe, both poetic, bestiary and plant...

Le Détail

We met Margot, head of Le Détail, via our friend Le disquaire du dimanche. She opened her flower shop in Nantes in 2020 and has a real ethical approach and respect for the environment, selling only local and seasonal products. A true enthusiast who has succeeded in combining both her taste for aesthetics and her commitment to the environment to make her business run smoothly. It is therefore quite natural that we trusted her to select the plants for the shop.

You have received your order but the product does not suit you?

You can return your products within 15 days of receiving your package, for any order.

For the festive season, the deadlines are extended to 30 days.

The items must not have been worn, washed or damaged and must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition for resale.

How do I return my package from France?

Return shipping from France is free via Mondial Relay.

To return your parcel, it is very simple :

  1. Go to “My account”, in the “My purchases” section,

  2. In the list of your orders, select your order,

  3. If your order is eligible for return, please tick each product you wish to return. If a product has been ordered in several copies, you can indicate the quantity to be returned.

  4. Indicate the reason for the return at the bottom of the order details and click on “Request a return”. You can track your return request in the “Returns” section of the “My purchases” section.

  5. Once your return request has been validated by our team, all you have to do is stick your pre-paid label (provided at the time of delivery) on the package, insert the completed returns form in the parcel and drop it off at a Mondial Relay point.

International return packages are at the customer’s expense (including cost of shipment by the chosen carrier, customs & duties, taxes, etc.)
