Brick Lane, 12:27. Mon estomac crie famine. J’avance en trombe, le vent glacial face à moi. Je rentre mes épaules, le Carmex sur mes lèvres ne fait plus effet. Les néons fluo-dégueus des restaurants indiens me fatiguent et irrite ma rétine. Intempestifs, comme leurs éternels racoleurs qui s’agite devant la vitrine pour essayer de me vendre un curry liquide et inodore pour £4.25. Mis à part l’écoeurement, mon estomac se serre un peu plus, et ce depuis 27 min. Oui, ma faim a commencé à 12h pile, pas moins, pas plus. Une habitude qui dépasse la logique gastrique, ou qu’il la déclenche, je ne sais plus. En tout cas, l’heure c’est l’heure, je n’y peux rien.

Une fois ma réflexion de poisson rouge terminée, je m’engage dans une contre-allée pour rendre la pâleur à mes joues. Quelques mètres à l’abri du vent et voici que mes yeux, enfin libérés de ces horribles pancartes bollywoodiennes, s’accrochent à la vitrine de la Stolen Space Gallery, « presents ‘Whose Land We Laid Down & Wiped Away’ by Gregory Euclide ». Avant même de pouvoir traduire et comprendre cette phrase à l’attrait pompeux, je rentre guidé par la curiosité. À l’entrée, un vin chaud est proposé. Une bonne femme, hypster dans l’âme, me tend un verre. Désireux d’obtenir une quelconque source de chaleur, mon absorption est radicale. L’acidité bouillante des épices ou du vin brûle mon œsophage. Sans surprise, la seconde remarque me semble la plus juste.

Doublement écœuré, j’arrive dans la salle principale au milieu d’œuvres plus belles les unes que les autres et habitue mes globes optiques à faire le point, tant les tableaux jouent sur les relations matérielles. J’ai l’impression de voir la nature en origami. Des gouttes d’eau éparses, des formes cycliques, feuilles en plastique, spirales, de petits arbres en carton. Tout ce mesclun confère à un ensemble cohérent de beauté, l’osmose réduite d’une forêt en boite. Du baume pour mes yeux. Soudain, stupeur et tremblements (de froid) – Mme Nothomb ne m’en voudra pas pour le jeu de mots -, je tombe nez à nez avec la reproduction originale de la pochette de l’album ‘Corollaries’ de Lubomyr Melnyk. Puis succinctement après avoir faites toutes les relations nécessaires à l’emboîtement fortuit de mes souvenirs, je cherche vivement l’immense pochette de Bon Iver. En vain puisque celle-ci n’est qu’une minuscule copie vendue £100 le centimètre. Je tourne encore quelques minutes avant que la beauté des œuvres réveille ma jalousie. Je sors, la tête heureuse et assouvie. Mon estomac, lui, crie toujours famine.

You have received your order but the product does not suit you?

You can return your products within 15 days of receiving your package, for any order.

For the festive season, the deadlines are extended to 30 days.

The items must not have been worn, washed or damaged and must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition for resale.

How do I return my package from France?

Return shipping from France is free via Mondial Relay.

To return your parcel, it is very simple :

  1. Go to “My account”, in the “My purchases” section,

  2. In the list of your orders, select your order,

  3. If your order is eligible for return, please tick each product you wish to return. If a product has been ordered in several copies, you can indicate the quantity to be returned.

  4. Indicate the reason for the return at the bottom of the order details and click on “Request a return”. You can track your return request in the “Returns” section of the “My purchases” section.

  5. Once your return request has been validated by our team, all you have to do is stick your pre-paid label (provided at the time of delivery) on the package, insert the completed returns form in the parcel and drop it off at a Mondial Relay point.

How can I return my package (International online returns)

International return packages are at the customer’s expense (including cost of shipment by the chosen carrier, customs & duties, taxes, etc.)

How long does it take to get my money back once my package has been sent?

Refunds will be made within 10 days of receipt of your items and automatically to the account associated with the credit card used for payment or to the Paypal account used for payment.

Is it possible to return my item in the shop?

No, for all internet orders, returns can only be made to the address mentioned above.

What can I do if my item has a defect?
